Additional countries with biometric IDs
The new year brings more countries with biometric IDs:
- Ghana will start the issuance of biometric passports
- Seychelles will issue biometric passports by the end of this year
Additionally, the Austrian Financial Market Authority will only allow to use NFC and biometrics for identity verification from 2023 onwards.
